Help coordinate weekly cleanup activities

$15 | hr. paid weekly (1090)
Hour: Summer hours are typically 7am and 9:30am or after 5pm due to heat conditions.
Program runs April - October - 4 hours per week
Maintain our floral garden in preparation for sales
Grant Writer
5% commission for grant submission| minimum $5k bid. Additional 5% commission for winning grants under $50k. 10% commission for grants over $50k.
Lawncare Service Lead
Hour: 8am - 4pm
Pay depends on size of yard. Minimum pay: $15 / yard | Maximum Pay: $40 / yard
Program runs April - October
Requirements:
- 2-year membership commitment
- Expertise in one of the following areas: Education, Finance, Technology, Government Affairs & Constituency, Police or Fire Safety
- 1-year commitment to lead program level oversight for one of our operational pillars
- 3 hours monthly commitment to board meetings
- 2 hours monthly commitment to committee meetings, activities, etc.
- Annual board dues of $500.00 (Payable at $42 | monthly)

Requirements:
- 2-year membership commitment
- Commit at least 5 hours monthly to operational meetings and activities
- Ability to think creatively with a focus on 'How' and not 'Why'
- Work well in collaborative environments
- Patience in dealing with people
Requirements:
- 1-year membership commitment
- Work with project manager to coordinate at minimum two of our annual events
- Gala Fundraiser
- Gift & Toy Drive
- Community Garden Kickoff
- Neighborhood Revitalization Kickoff
- Rees Park Beautification Project
Hours: Saturday 7 - 9:30am | May - September (yearly)
Help coordinate weekly cleanup activities
- Commit at least 2 of 14 weekends to lead a cleanup project
- Work with other nonprofit or block clubs to plan cleanup projects
- Coordinate inventory requirements for engagements
- Mentor / Train youth in lawn care services

- Oversee water schedule for all flowers
- Oversee weed removal and lawn maintenance in garden area
- Lead by example teaching a variety of youth who move through the program

- Must have experience cutting yard diagonal, vertical, and horizontal lines
- Must have expert level capability with edging lawn
- Provide oversight for youth workers who will perform the yard maintenance
- Must have valid driver's license and submit for driving extract record from BMV
