GCP partners with the chicago mission In Our Community Garden

November 2020
The Chicago Mission Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints provided hefty support in the collaboration with GCP in the neighborhood Community Garden.  This preparation was necessary for next years Native Flower Garden Program which will employ teen to manage and sell flowers
GCP is evolving the community garden to serve multiple purposes.  We are expanding our vegetable garden program to include curriculum based activities which support objectives and outcomes, perfect for school outings!

If you are successful, it is because somewhere, sometime, someone gave you a life or an idea that started you in the right direction. Remember also that you are indebted to life until you help some less fortunate person, just as you were helped.
-Melinda Gates

“For those who want to change the world, the first step is they must get proximate to the people who are suffering, who are being excluded, who are being disfavored and who are being incarcerated. We cannot change the world from a distance.”
-Bryan Stevenson
