building an economic bridge for youth through our native garden
A legacy foundation sponsored event

With the support of Legacy Foundation, GCP will partner with The Chicago ECO House to establish its first community service offering with a purpose of economic sustainability by employing youth to provide a tangible service both in and outside the city of Gary.
The pilot launching in 2021 will create a native flower garden and provide floral sales to the community.
"There is no reason to reinvent the wheel here! We see an opportunity to partner with another community who suffers from similar economic conditions and together both communities benefit!" says Jeffrey Edwards, the ED of GCP.
Your financial support will help us secure the perimeter of the facility in addition to purchasing green infrastructure (solar powered) equipment to support cooling and water management.
