GCP's floral business is growing! Join us for our spring planting session on April 19th at 12pm. Each year members across Gary, Hammond, Munster, and the Chicagoland area come together in our garden to help plant a variety of flowers that we grow, harvest and sell to support our floral CSA program! 100% of all proceeds are allocated to our community garden! All are welcome! We love organizations, church groups, and volunteers alike! Register today!

We started our flower farm from an idea to take 'nothing' and turn it into 'something'. Sitting in between two vacant properties was a lot overrun with trees and weeds. With a bit of creativity and support from our partners at Methodist Hospitals and McDonald's, we transformed this property from a community eyesore into a revenue generator! Our youth maintain the garden throughout the summer and earn stipends as we model the rewards of work consistency!
